The currency in Belize is the Belizean dollar. If you take one Belizean dollar, and one U.S. dollar they wouldn't be the same. One Belizean dollar equals 50 cents in U.S. dollars. The abberveation for Belizean dollars is BZ$. They have 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollar bills. The coins they have are BZ$1, BZ$2, 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50.
Food
Belize has many different kinds of foods. Belize is on the coast of the Caribbean Sea, and because of the ocean by them they catch a lot of sea food for many dishes. Fish show up at many entre options at resturants, and even in soup. Hudut is a soup with fish in it. Rice and beans is a very popular dish in Belize, and it is eaten daily by many Belizeans. The beans are mainly put in, next to, or on top of the rice. A popular dessert in belize is red beets and ginger cheesecake. This cheesecake is a gluten free dessert for two! It is made mostly on Valentine's day because of its pink color.
